Mary Nichols Handbags are a labor of love! A Native Texan who splits her time between Houston and New York City, Mary Nichols spent years searching for the perfect carry-all. Unable to find something just right, Mary started her own line in November 2007 after graduating with a fashion design degree from Parsons The New School of Design in New York.
Mary has a deep understanding of form and function. Even before starting her own line, Mary worked in the arts. She attended Southern Methodist University, majoring in studio art with a concentration in painting and photography, worked as an art gallery director and elementary school art teacher, and interned with Theory and Calvin Klein Collection.
Mary lovingly oversees each design detail, every marketing effort, and each business decision. She is dedicated to creating beautiful and practical high quality bags that will become classic wardrobe staples.
